I doubt there are many other 7 year olds out there who would spend an hour of their day organizing their book collection in alphabetical order by author. She came up with the idea on her own and complained when she had to take a break to go to Red Robin for dinner. As soon as we got home she was right back in her room finishing the job. Next up, the Dewey Decimal System for her non-fiction collection:-) Grandma Peggy, the librarian, will be very proud!!

I think this probably something I would have done as a child mostly because I was an only child and super type A even then. :) I had a color coding system for my books.
Yeah, she definitely is Type A personality. I have NO idea where she gets it from. Her parents are sooooo laid back;-)
Hey, she's maybe a 'little' type A. I have seen her organizational style for other things. She just doesn't want to waste her valuable reading time looking for something to read. Yup, Grandma Peggy is plumb tickled!
When Phil first saw my CD collection - carefully alphabetized, but at least not broken into genre sub-categories - he should have known it was only the tip of the OCD iceberg! Madison just doesn't have a chance with all the highly organized genes in her pool!
